NEW MEETING PLACE

The club meets at 7:00 PM on the 4th Monday of each month at  ACADIAN HARDWOODS, ROSE CITY, (BETWEEN BEAUMONT AND VIDOR)  EXIT 858 , EAST SIDE OF FREEWAY, BEHIND PROGAS. AND P&P TRAILER SALES. 

Meetings consist of a short business meeting, a "Show and Tell" session where club members bring in completed projects, newly acquired tools or new products they have, and tell the members about them; then a "Program" about the craft of working wood. These programs are presented by club members or others who are willing.

The club has a library consisting of video tapes, books, and magazines pertaining to woodworking, and these items can be checked out by members for home study free of charge.

The dues are $24.00 per year, and visitors are always welcome who think they may be interested in becoming a member.

The club has donated toys to needy children in Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange Counties for Christmas for several years. For '97 '98 '99 & 2000 the toy count has been over 1500. For 2001 the count was approximately 1200 toys.
